Membership
NFA is in the process of implementing a membership management application called Member Wizard. We aim to have this cloud-based system up and running by the end of June, before our annual membership fees are due. The software will allow us to send out fee renewal reminders, which will be emailed from Native-Fish-Australia-Victoria@memberwizard.com.au, though all replies and membership inquiries should still be sent to membership@nativefish.asn.au.
All current and recently lapsed members will receive a membership renewal invoice by the end of June.
We will add a link to our Member Wizard portal in due course. This will allow members to join and renew their membership online, update their details, and opt to receive updates and announcements from us by email or SMS. However, new and renewing members that prefer to use the existing membership form and pay by electronic funds transfer, cash, or even cheques, will still be able to do so.
Any person or organization that has an interest in native fish and supports our goals may become a member of Native Fish Australia.
Memberships expire (and are due) at the end of each financial year.
We do not pro-rata memberships but if you join late in the financial year we will roll your membership over to the next financial year.
We currently have no facility to auto renew or direct debit so you will need to renew your membership annually.
Members need to be financial to be covered by our insurance to volunteer in the hatchery / participate in our events and vote at the AGM.
